Stout rounds a good. Plastic frames I guess have their place, although I cant see where. Except it is cheaper for the manufacturer to make.

There are several companies out there that have begun to make plastic lower receivers for AR15's! I got some from two different companies over the last week or so. Omni and Frontier! They look okay and I will build a couple of complete lowers over the weekend to come and then I will have soemthing to base my comments on! I just don;t know yet!

I suppose that if there was anything wrong with them, they would not be offering them. Modern plastics have come a long way.

Builds wnet fine! The plastic ones are easier to work with but also more scary as I am afraid with pressure on them they might break! So, I try to take it easy and not be quite so rough with them. Have not had a chance to go out and shoo teither of them yet but will within the next week or so.
